NEW: Certified Coder or Coding Specialist - Fulltime (minimum of 35 hours/wk.)

Qualifications:
• Certification as CPC or formal training without Certification.
• Knowledge of coding policies and procedures, data processing policies, procedures, and concepts.
• Knowledge of computer operator functions including terminology and equipment.
• Skill in performing repetitive duties of operating CRT.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and set procedures to transfer data into computer.
• Ability to work to precise & established standards of accuracy to enter data at high rate of speed.
• Ability to communicate clearly and establish effective working relationships with computer users and staff members.
• Minimum 2 years coding experience.

NEW: Nurse Health Coach RN/LPN - Fulltime (minimum of 35 hours/wk.)

Family Health Care of Siouxland, the largest independent primary care network in the Siouxland region, is seeking qualified candidates for a Nurse Health Coach RN/LPN at our Northside Clinic.

Selected candidate will provide nursing care to patients following established standards & practices. Collaborate on an individual’s care plan in conjunction with health professionals, such as medical home, certified dieticians etc. Establish plans of care with the primary care provider for the specified patient population and educate the patient about their disease state as well as other health issues relating to their plan of care. Collect and monitor clinical data and enter it in a computerized program for tracking purposes. Work all reports as it relates to the computerized programs and update with appropriate information. Monitor for quality of care and outcome improvements in accordance with clinical indicators/standards of care. Work with providers to establish best practices within electronic health record, protocols etc. Call and schedule patients for needed follow up as it relates to their disease management & preventative care. Perform other nursing duties as needed.

Qualifications: Prefer one-year of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting; Graduate of an accredited school of nursing;Valid state license as an RN or LPN; Current CPR certification.

NEW: Radiology Technologist - On-Call (less than 24 hours/week)

Family Health Care of Siouxland, the largest independent primary care network in the Siouxland region, is seeking qualified candidates for an On-Call Radiology Technologist at our Urgent Care Clinics.

Selected candidate will operate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic X-ray films as directed by physicians and performs routine diagnostic procedures.

Requirements include: Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint area for radiography, knowledge of radiology equipment and testing as well as knowledge of safety hazards common to radiology including equipment, body mechanics and patient movement. Skill in properly positioning patients to provide quality imaging.

Completion of course in radiology technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. One year of experience as a radiologic technologist preferred. Current certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists & licensed in Iowa & Nebraska.
