Dr. Opheim, a native of Minnesota, earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota. She completed her residency in Sioux City in 1984. She is a member of the American Medical Association, Iowa Medical Society, Woodbury Medical Society, American Association of Family Practice, and American Medical Directors Association. She currently holds positions with Family Health Care of Siouxland’s Board of Directors, Embassy Rehab Care Center, Prairie Estates Care Center, Women’s and Children’s Center, and Mid-Step Services. Dr. Opheim has practiced with the Family Health Care of Siouxland Corporation since its beginning in July 2002. She and her husband, Terry, have three daughters.
